This position is for SAP Basis support that will primarily assist in the
implementation and use of SAP Solution Manager Functionality.
Will hire from phone interview and video interview
Must work on-site
Will interview and hire from phone. Ideal candidates will be in the Texas
area, but not required.
Duration: 6 months plus extensions
Supported rate: Subject to related experience.
3 open slots for submittals for the 1 open contract role.
NOTE: Client is open to considering a higher rate, if the skill of the
resource justifies it.

HessBasis role as to what has been missing from candidates. We
have
“Most of the candidates being submitted are strong on the SAP technical
side (e.g. Upgrades / Patches through Service Marketplace, Early Watch
Alerts, Root Cause Analysis, etc.).”
But this position must have experience on some of the more functional
capabilities of SAP Solution Manager.
Experience should include functional and configuration experience in test
management (eCATT), change management (ChaRM), solution
documentation (Blueprint), etc.
Must have functional /configuration experience in the areas of test
management (eCATT), change management (ChaRM), or solution
documentation.

and solution documentation.

- Test management
- Change control management
- Technical operations
- Business process operations
- Job scheduling management
- Custom code management.
Additional responsibilities may include the following. - Develop standard
documentation around refreshes, client copies, installation procedures,
etc. as required; -
·Assist in creating strategies and approaches for meeting project
timelines
- Develop documentation for disaster recovery process and environment.
- Experience with Windows Server 2008 operating system and SQL Server
2008 RDBMS is required.
- Analytical skills are required to develop process documentation,
configure Solution Manager, and assistance in the implementation of ALM
functionality.
- At least two implementations providing functional support for Solution
Manager is required
