Job Title:SAP ABAP AFS
Location- Beaverton, OR
Duration- 12+ months*
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Act as SAP Solutions Architect, ensuring proposed processes and solutions
adhere to best practices, solid design principles and sustainability.
Champion continuous improvement, driving inefficiencies out of implemented
processes and solutions.
Through quality improvement processes and techniques, ensure that
SAP-integrated business processes are monitored, measured, and sustained at
a level sufficient to fulfill service level agreements.
Provide insight on new SAP technology and how it might improve CSC’s
current environment.
Specific Job Skills:
Possesses expert knowledge on how SAP supports business processes
Thorough understanding of core SAP modules and business processes they
support
Must have detailed technical understanding of the SAP AFS industry solution
Experienced in integrating SAP with other non-SAP applications.
Knowledgeable of the apparel and footwear and/or retail industry
Proficient in using data to tell a story and make a persuasive business case
Technically knowledgeable on the SAP Netweaver platform, specifically the
latest versions of ECC, Solution Manager, BW and GRC
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field; MBA
desirable
Experience:
15 years’ experience in IT, business or a related field
10 years’ experience in progressive leadership roles closely aligned to SAP
product deployment, adoption and support
At least 3 full SAP ERP implementations (2 with SAP AFS); hands-on
involvement at the technical level required
Long term SAP post-go-live support or SAP COE experience required
Hands-on experience with Waterfall, Agile and SAP ASAP 7.2 methodologies;
Project management certification a plus
Experience in global or multi-branded environments desirable; Apparel
and/or footwear experience required
Familiarity with Microsoft BizTalk, Informatica, and service oriented
architectures desired
