4+ years of experience in Solution Manager set up/usage and SAP Basis
Administration
Primary Skills:
E2E Monitoring setup for SAP systems
With additional Solman Skills:
Ability to fully implement functionality required for the successful
rollout of Solution Manager Processes and functionality as per standard SAP
requirements
Change Request Management (ChaRM) Implementation experience
Business Process & Technical Monitoring
Testing Management - HP Quality Center & SAP
Incident Management - SAP to Support Tool (ServiceNow)
Experience in version upgrades and support pack upgrades.
Experience Required:
6 - 8 years (SAP SolMan Certified preferred)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expert configuring Solution Manager 7.1 monitoring with ABAP and Java
systems
ChaRM & Service Desk implementation experience is preferred
Ability to work with Work Centers
Expert configuring and using Solution Manager Root Cause Analysis
Monitoring, Root Cause Analysis, and Technical Administration
Business Process Monitoring and Job Management
Knowledge of the STMS, ChaRM, Incident Management
Strong ABAP & Java stack administration skills.
Knowledge of Technical infrastructure, networking and system operations
Knowledge of Project documentation in SolMan
Solution Documentation process setup
Full Life-Cycle implementation and upgrade projects experience is
advantageous.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager monitoring SAP systems on Oracle
database
Experience with SAP on Windows and Unix (Solaris) operating systems
Strong configuration and customization experience with Solution Manager.
Ability to work independently and keep management adequately informed.
Performance tuning.
Demonstrated ability to work in matrix team environments, including strong
stakeholder interface capability.
Analyze application stability and take action accordingly.
Identify design gaps and propose solutions.
