Job Description:
· Unix Programming skills – Basic Unix commands for creation of directories/files, Copy and moving files, File management, ACLs, Monitoring space issues, Soft links and Hard links and their purpose, find command, pattern matching, vi editor, environmental variables
· Unix Admin Skills - Mounts, Cron jobs, troubleshooting space issues, software installation/upgrade, profile changes, NIS
· Troubleshoot / enhance Perl scripts; experience in Apache and associated technologies
· Familiarity with SAS (8.2/9.2/9.3/9.4) would be a plus point.
· Prior Experience of working in a large support and maintenance environment.
· Excellent and matured communication skills required at client side and interpersonal skills.
· Familiarity with clinical and Pharma domain would be a plus point.
· Requirement gathering and Design.
· Lead the technical implementation of all requested application changes.
· Work very closely with the offshore team and follow up with clients for all the information requested by offshore.
· Address critical issues at onsite.
· Review and test the deliverables before handing to clients.
· Provide regular updates to the customer on the ongoing work.
· Provide effort estimates and technical solutions to the problems/enhancements.
· Client management and coordination with various stakeholder teams
