Sr SAP FICO Consultant

Location - Columbus, OH

Duration - 1 year

Start date - ASAP

Years of experience 6-7 years in SAP FICO implementation

Your core responsibility will be to support the implementation Accounts
Payable (AP) and Tax in the projects assigned.  This will include the
development of Country specific related configuration Tax requirements,
Vendor management, Invoice and payment Processing for the Global Rollouts
of AP /FA   Design updates and enhancements to Interfaces, Reports,
Variants and FiValids.  You will work with several Business Groups to
analyze business requirements and review/produce specifications for any
new/changes to technology applications.  You will need to understand AP/FA
business processes and integration to FI/CO.  You will regularly interact
with and be under the supervision of the senior team members. Your
responsibilities will include translating requirements into SAPAP /FA
design and configuration, configuring the system, generating and executing
applicable scenarios for functional and integration testing and working
with the SAP ABAP development team to ensure that business requirement
specifications are understood.  In addition, you will be responsible for
resolving defects and do any required implementation activities. You will
also facilitate implementation of new functionality through training
sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation.
Responsibilities will include conversion, implementation and Go-Live
support.  Understand and comply with the Project Life Cycle Methodology in
all planning steps.

Responsibilities:

·         Work closely with business and project delivery team to ensure
appropriate business measures are defined

·         Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make
recommendations in GAP documents

·         Create functional and technical design recommendations for SAP
AP/FA conversions and deployment per written specifications

·         Create all required documentation for specifications and add to
the existing AP or FA Conversion Toolkit for processes and procedures

·         Thoroughly unit test, modify, and implement SAP AP and FA
configuration; make standard modifications to existing SAP AP/FA module in
accordance with high-level specifications, application support and industry
standards

·         Provide testing support to the testers during Test phase

·         Evaluate service level issues and suggested enhancements
escalated by Service Delivery Team to diagnose and address underlying
system problems and inefficiencies

Qualifications:

·         Previous implementation experience with multi-currency

·         Previous experience with Latin American implementations

·         Five to Eight years of relevant work experience with some of the
following modules: SAP AP and FA preferably in mid to large size companies.

·         One to two Full Life Cycle

·         Three to five years of experience with business/systems analysis.

·         Prior experience in mid to large size projects, and familiarity
with Project Life Cycle methodology.

·         Experience with SAP version 4.6, 4.7, or ECC 6.0 Classic Ledger
in FI (FA, AP, SD/AR) either in technical project, or support role.

·         Experience in delivering end-to-end technology and client
implementation solutions/projects

·         Solid understanding of the following processes: Accounts Payable,
or Procurement, or Order to Cash (OTC), and Corporate Finance functions,
Taxes, Fixed Assets and related best practices.

·         Good problem solving skills.

·         Familiarity with business processes for SAP AP workflow
processes, imaging, tax processing, vendor and customer master, invoice
transactions, and payment processing.

·         Excellent documentation skills. Demonstrated experience in
writing business requirements, functional specifications, and test
scenarios.  Proficient in writing in English language.

·         Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.  Highly
proficient in the English language.

·         Strong team and interpersonal skills.

·         Previous experience providing training to end users or clients.

·         Ability to work under pressure in a multi-tasking environment.

·         Testing experience including script creation (nice to have),
execution (nice to have), and defect resolution.

·         Testing experience with the following: Unit, integration,
regression, user acceptance (coordination), performance

·         Experience with the Testing Tools such as  Quality Center

·         Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (for
analysis of files), or MS Access (preferred)

·         Experience with geographically dispersed teams.

·         B.S. or B.A. in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or
related field.
