REQUIREMENT DETAILS:
Position : Project Manager with SAP project experience.
Location : Houston, TX
Only GC, Citizen and EAD GC.
This position is part of the Project Management group reporting into the
Application Development and Support department in Information Technology.
This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a portfolio of
projects in the Information Technology department.
· Provide oversight of a portfolio of projects ($10-15million in value) to
ensure successful delivery.
· Ensure that project managers are driving and leading project activities
to ensure activities are tracked and deliverables are met.
· Provide process leadership to the project managers and leads on the
projects.
· Participate in the project review meetings and provide independent
assessment on the projects overall health and status.
· Provide leadership in helping the architects and solution leads move a
project through the governance process.
· Provide broad IT and project knowledge.
· Provide leadership on projects that have significant issues and provide
active support when needed.
· Delivery Assurance Leads will have a very good understanding of the state
of the portfolio of projects they are assigned and will be required to
deliver high level reports on the portfolio's health.
· Support the PMO office in ensuring that projects are being reported on
accurately.
Experience:
· Three to five years of leadership responsibility managing medium to large
teams and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
· global rollouts, and experience in leading internationally distributed
teams
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent management and team-building skills
· Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate between IT
requirements and technical design and implementation
· Budget planning and management
