Job Description:

 

Skills Required:

10-15 years overall experience; Specialized expertise in SAP and solid
software engineering practices.
Proven Strong Lead Skills to lead a team of SDETs, drive test
planning/execution/reporting, Identify and Drive Risks/Issues to resolution
along with performing some of the hands on SDET work.
Strong communication skills; verbal and written - Required
Self Driven/Motivated/Creative and a Strong team Player with a relentless
focus on getting things done- Required
Strong Business/Analytical Problem Solving Skills and high Intellectual
Horse Power - Required
Test Automation leveraging ecatt - Required
Proven Technical Excellence in Test Automation and developing test
automation frameworks – Required
8 years of experience in SAP R3/ECC (SD/MM/FI) - Required
8-10 years of Design/Development/Test Experience - Required
3-5 years of APO/MDM experience - Good to have
Overall 10-15 years of experience is required

 

 

Requirements:

 

This is a Lead position and is highly technical in nature and must be able
to interact with the developers on a 1-1 basis. This Lead SDET is also
responsible for taking test ownership of functional areas that are being
created and drive in world class quality in not only the code but in the
processes by which it is created and tested. For owned projects , the Lead
SDET will drive test planning, scheduling, test case organization,
documentation, reviews, automation planning & execution, progress & results
reporting, and lead bug triage meetings. The Lead SDET must ramp up to an
expert state in required SAP modules/functional areas and technologies
assigned and become a knowledge resource in the group. Work closely with
program managers, dev leads, test managers and production support and drive
issues to resolution. Collaborate and coordinate with partner teams to
productively engage integration testing efforts. Ensure compliance with
privacy, security and performance guidelines. Drive the creation of, a
scalable and extensible test infrastructure, increase our automation
coverage. Leverage his/her experience partnering and collaborating with
other teams to promote test improvements and adopt locally embraced test
methodologies. We are looking for a highly passionate individual, who can
Lead and Operate independently, mentor other SDET’s technically. Someone
with a proven technical excellence in in test automation frameworks . This
will be a role with 60% hands on and 40% lead work.

SAP Tester:

This role involves developing test plans, authoring test cases, reviewing
them with stake holders to get alignment on the coverage, automate using
existing ecatt test framework. Execution of prewritten test cases and
reporting of product anomalies when found. Demonstrated investigative and
problem solving skills, as well as attention to detail. Ability to learn
new information quickly, and communicate test results clearly. Familiarity
with product lifecycle . Improves test quality and effectiveness by working
with Development and Program Management to prevent problems and to make the
product more testable. Should have a strong background in End-to-End
testing. This individual may be requried to lead a small test team.
Ability to mentor other test team members. Should have the ability to
design/write ecatt test automation framework. Knowledge of software testing
standards, methods and conventions, and the product development cycle.
Demonstrated success in coordinating the test effort for software projects,
as well as testing software products and contributing to their quality
standards. Proficiency in one or more programming languages. Experience
with shipping a product / product cycle may be helpful. Knowledge of

development cycle. Substantial testing of End-to-End functionality.
