“SAP BW/ABAP Consultant” to join our team in “Naperville, IL”.
Qualifications:
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Very strong technical resource in BW/BI –HANDS ON
- Strong in building cubes, issue resolution/troubleshooting.
- Strong in reporting/BEx
- Good knowledge on functional areas of BW- Business Warehouse
- Very strong skills in ABAP programming –HANDS ON
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of BPC Ver 7.5 (MS or NTW) –preferred.
- Activities-include support in areas of- Development, Quality and
Production environments
- Design and development of Reports, Interfaces(data sources, process
change),Conversion, and Enhancements
- Develop technical specifications, unit testing and integration testing
- Job monitoring on daily basis
- Performing on-demand activities like transports, flat-file loads and
changes related to reporting as well as role
- Strong in depth knowledge and skills in Enterprise Portal, Netweaver
Overview, Web services, ESOA,Java
- Apply knowledge of SAP Application development aspects: SAP Technical
Objects, SAP BI,
- Enterprise Portal and ABAP/Java based programming, SAP Dialog
programming, experience in FM, ALE and BAPI, SAP Business connector,
workflow, etc.
- Design and build Reports, Interfaces, Conversions,
Extensions/Enhancements, Forms, Workflows (RICEFW) in the context of SAP
implementation.
- Design and build technical solutions that are modular and have the
appropriate level of scalability for the given architecture and performance
SLAs.
- Sets technical direction for the project/application.
- Provides program/project leadership for client solutions.
- Estimate effort for various development objects
- Integrates interrelated projects and manages projects.
- Informs clients about emerging technologies and business implications
based on the project and their overall business.
- Develops intermediate and detailed schedules that support the high-level
master schedule.
- Develops alternative proposed project plans to support new business
opportunities.
- Strong skills/knowledge in the SAP Portal area preferred.
Skills and Experience:
- 3-5+years of SAP developer experience in one or more technical areas
(i.e. ABAP, BI, Portals)
- Experience with current SAP Application standards and development tools.
- Working knowledge of data model, APIs and business process flow in two or
more SAP modules.
- Practical knowledge of ASAP implementation methodology.
- Knowledge of and experience with At least one automated testing tool
Education and/or Training:
- Undergraduate degree required in math, computer science, engineering, or
related discipline with an information technology focus (preferred).
- Current Certifications in applicable products (preferred).
Qualification: SAP BW
Minimum Years Required: 5
