Position: Senior SAP MM Analyst
Location: Hyderabad
Department: Information Systems
Reports to: SAP MM Lead
The Sr. SAP MM Configuration Analyst will direct the efforts of a team with SAP MM skills providing SAP functional implementation and support skills to an International Corporation. The candidate will be expected to ensure a well coordinated working relationship is established between on-site and off-site team members. The candidate must have an understanding of the functional aspects and development processes related to SAP ECC 6.0. The individual will offer their development and design expertise regarding the SAP system to the other functional team members to ensure that development standards are met. Knowledge of Plant maintenance will be an added advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of complex SAP solutions based upon the guidelines established by the Client.
Experience with ECC version 6.0 will be highly regarded
Responsible for maintaining MM configuration settings in all areas of PTP like Inventory Management, Purchasing areas, Release Strategy, Pricing, Purchase Requisitions, Account Determination, Movement Types, Cross Module integration, Batch and RF Scanners, Batch Determination, etc
Knowledge for maintaining PM configuration settings in areas of Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Integration with other modules, Master data.
Develop and supervise the functional specifications for proposed enhancements and performs initial testing of problem corrections and enhancements. Develop user and support documentation for the enhancements.
Meet established priorities and schedules as per the defined SLAs.
To estimate, plan and schedule various SAP configuration development activities and related testing for design requirements
Manage communication between the onsite configuration resources and the global delivery centre(s)
Demonstrate leadership and provide direction and guidance for his career growth
Ensure SAP education and training opportunities are explored with each proposal
Establish and nurture productive working relationships with appropriate SAP internal business units and external parties, to develop business success. Support PTP users worldwide, does business consulting and answering user "how to" questions.
Assist in preparing the detailed development plan with deliverables
Responsible for Go-Live activities on time, in scope, and within budget for Projects undertaken
Should have the skills of testing (Development, integration, and support for UAT)
Assist in all necessary project phases for SAP implementations, enhancements and support activities including functional requirements gathering, and fit/gap analysis
Coach junior staff and provide input/assistance based on related experience and expertise
Support team objectives and activities as well as personal job-related skill development and career-growth
Requirements
Minimum experience of 6 years in SAP functional MM implementation and support
Previous work experience in manufacturing and packaging on the floor experience including materials handling operations will be helpful.
Full End to End Implementation & Rollouts experience
Bachelors / Masters Degree
SAP MM certification is an added advantage
Willingness to travel abroad for sustained durations
