Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Security Weaver is looking for multiple persons with a solid understanding of the ABAP as
programming analysts and as team leads. Our projects include development in SAP from release
4.0 all the way to ECC 6.0.
Here is the description of our position:
• This person must have a solid understanding of the ABAP Workbench.
• Having skills with ABAP Objects, Menu/Screen Painter
• Demonstrate performance enhancing features and methodology of ABAP
• This will include design, coding, testing, implementation, and support of ABAP
applications.
• Individual will provide strong expertise in all of the following ABAP tool sets, as well as
providing a solid understanding of emerging SAP technologies:
o Develop and support ABAP List Processing, which included reporting, query
tools, logical databases, list design, and control level processing.
o Develop and support ABAP transaction processing, which includes screen
objects and controls.
o Develop and support appropriate ABAP user exits.
o Develop and support ABAP interface programming to and from other systems.
• Ability to develop with WebDynpro
• Individual will be responsible for writing technical specifications as well as functional
specifications, working in conjunction with Business Analysts and Project Leaders in
refining application designs.
• Responsible for unit testing program modifications, as well as direct participation and
design of related integration testing.
• Individual will be knowledgeable in multiple functional areas of SAP, providing ABAP
related support across modules.
• Individual will focus on projects of medium to high level in complexity.
• Responsible for the establishment, monitoring, and maintenance of standard procedures
and practices for all ABAP development tools.
• Provides a high level of understanding of Basis Technology and related SAP Security.
• Coordinate ABAP related issues during SAP release / version upgrades.
• Provide expertise in ABAP system architecture and related performance considerations.
• An individual in this position may be a Supervisor with direct reports.
• Individual will also support SAP related bolt-on\'s, as well as legacy applications.
• Nice to have: experience with SAP role based security
• Nice to have: experience with workflow.
Required Qualifications:
• Candidates must be willing to relocate to Chandigarh area
• ALV experience should be required.
• Positions require 3 – 5 or more years of ABAP experience.
• Positions require the ability to think logically and independently, displaying strong
problem solving skills.
• Individual must possess strong programming methodologies.
• Thorough understanding of the development life cycle.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Success on at least six (6) or more large projects.
• Experience with ECC 5.0 (or ECC 6.0)
Educational Requirement(s):
Bachelor\'s Degree Computer Science
Bachelor’s Degree in IT
MCA (with at least 7 years of ABAP experience)
