Description: Senior SAP Project Systems Consultant
Duration: 1 - 3 month plus
Location: New York City, New York
Pay Rate: Open + Expenses
Description:

·In reviewing the time management and payroll processes at client,
it was clearly identified many of client downstream billing and financial
reporting problems are caused by master data management, majority being how
they are creating their projects in PS, creating WBS Elements, and posting
of hours to PS and financials.

·We need to expand the current time and PR analysis to begin at
the start of the process, creating projects.
·The current process requires 22 pages of set up and averages
three to four weeks.
·There is also a transition, they start a project on a letter of
intent, thus collect costs and billings, and then sign a final contract and
settle on final type of project.
·Contract can be of different types and a statement is made that
if that once a project is created they cannot change things. Of what I know
of projects, this does not seem correct.
·We have an immediate need for a Project Systems consultant,
preferably with construction experience.
·Need to review the way PS is set up because it appears client
created a complex maintenance and posting process.
