Job Description:-

The SD Consultant is the intermediary between the business users and the
production support team. The consultant is responsible for configuring and
maintaining the Sales and Distribution (SD) module within SAP, as well as
taking ownership for a functional sub-areas. Provides functional knowledge
and perspective to the enterprise-wide IT solution team. The Analyst will
be called upon to facilitate participation of the client’s functional
specialists. Also provides functional knowledge for business process
re-engineering and implementation of best IT and business practices.
Supports functional lead for requirements definition to the IT system
development project and supports fit/gap analyses of SAP software.
Participates in business case development by supporting identification of
functional impacts for alternative solutions. This role will be performed
as part of a long-term application management support team doing support,
break-fix, and enhancement work.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Document new business requirements for the Order Fulfillment team
· Establish and update functional specifications.
· Provide Sales and Distribution (SD) module, Materials Management
(MM) and SAP R/3 functional and technical expertise.
· Configure the Sales and Distribution (SD) module and Materials
Management (MM) module
· Design and test break fixes.
· Provide on the job training and answer ‘how to’ user questions.

Experience Requirements:
· 5 years general SAP SD experience with a focus on order
processing or inventory management is required
· SAP configuration experience required with a focus on order
processing or inventory management
· Must be able to pass a government background check
· US citizenship required (no dual citizenship)
· Must have full lifecycle
(requirements-design-development-testing-deployment) implementation
experience
· Candidate must be local to the Columbus, OH area- not a traveling
role
· 5+ years experience in a production support environment preferred
