Job Title : SAP BASIS Administrator
Location : CA
Duration : 6 months Plus

Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT; Minimum of 6 years of SAP
Basis experience

Candidate will be responsible for installation, administration,
tuning, and monitoring of SAP applications

and supporting the functional and development teams. Successful
candidate should have significant

experience in at least 6 of the SAP components: ECC 6.0, CRM2007, SCM
5.1, SRM 5.0, PI 7.0, EP 7.0,

BI 7.01. The person should have strong Netweaver Java and liveCache
administration skills. Experience

with Redwood Job Scheduler and OpenText Document Imaging a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

·         SAP ECC, BI, CRM, SCM, SRM, GTS, GRC, PI, Solution Manager
and Portal Support Primary responsibility

·         includes supporting and monitoring the environments,
troubleshooting systems issues, applying support

·         packages and patches and moving changes between environments.

·         Candidate will also be responsible for performing periodic system copies and supporting all

·         development activities.

·         Interfacing with other IT Infrastructure teams such as UNIX
and database support. The candidate should

·         have excellent communication skills.

·         Should be a team player and must be able to handle Basis admin

·         tasks independently and guide other team members when needed.

Required Skills:

·         Strong SAP Basis administration skills.

·         Candidate should have strong experience on workload analysis, performance tuning and

·         troubleshooting ABAP and JAVA stacks as well as liveCache. Should be well versed with system refreshes.

·         Ability to configure SAP Transport Management System. Familiarity with Change Management

·         Process and SAP methodology for migrating changes between environments. Experience with service

·         management tool such as Remedy.

·         Configuration of printer in SAP and spool administration.

·         Solution Manager administration and configuration for
Central Monitoring and Early Watch Alerts.

·         Good Unix scripting knowledge.

·         Ability to work directly with developers and end users fo problem resolution.

·         Should be willing to take ownership of complex application
problems and provide innovative & long term solutions.

·         Experience with Open Text Document Imaging & Redwood CPS for
Batch Job scheduling and monitoringa plus.

·         Oracle Database and Unix administration skills preferred.
