Job Description
The Consultant must be an expert level SAP BI/ BW resource with at least 5 years of experience working with and knowledge of the SAP/ BW / BI / BOBJ product. Experience in providing SAP/ BI Configuration, Migration services and with reporting tables and OLTP (On Line Transaction Processing) tables exposed through Business Objects Universes. Work with the client to understand the migration process, Review or develop the deployment plan for the program, resolving data migration issues, sequencing of activities and functional and technical dependencies, develops contingency plan, reviews the cutover plan prepared by team and provides suggestions for improvement to deploy the system/process. Lead a team of consultants in understanding business processes, analyses/captures the client requirements and pain areas by conducting training, perform high level fit gap analysis and process changes, carry out benchmarking studies, Provides assistance to consultants in resolving complex requirements. Assists the team in preparation and planning for the workshops. Reviews the work of the team. Excellent skills in preparing documentation SRS, Business Blueprint, Training Material.. Lead / Key member of the team on Implementation / Support / Rollout / Assessment of SAP BW solution based projects Customer interaction to understand BI requirements, provide leadership in BI architecture, transformation / migration requirements Understand Customer's AsIs BI architecture, awareness of Enterprise Data warehouse principles, ability to conceptualize and design a BI solution for the client To be able to work in an onsite offshore model, which involves coordination across different teams. Experience on Transformation, Routines Worked on SAP BI 7.0 and SAP BW 3.1 (Upgrade experience in 3.5 to 7.0 or 7.3 will be an added advantage) If you are interested, please send us your updated resume to bhuvaneswari@sierratecus.com
