Assistant General Manager - HR

JD :

  • Efficiently handling the full recruitment lifecycle consisting of: Sourcing, Networking, Pre-qualifying candidates via phone, behavioural interviewing in person, Identifying and tracking feedback from interview teams, Reference checking, Negotiating offers.
  • Recruitment for Gulf Countries Projects Also.
  • Drafting and finalizing Job description and Job Specification in consultation with concerned HOD.
  • Ensuring vacancy advertisement on job portal/s with periodic updation.
  • Liaising for sourcing of resumes from job portals, external consultants, Internal and personal references.
  • Negotiating and finalizing remuneration structure, terms and conditions of employment
  • Issuance of Appointment Letter / Promotion / Confirmation / Increment letters to employees
  • Performance Management:
  • Setting KRAs of various teams.
  • Handling Performance management and appraisal process.
  • Responsible for entire gamut of appraisal activities.
  • Operations:
  • Supervising the efficient working of routine HR operations, in a manner that conveys a positive and proactive impression to all employees.
  • Communication & execution of policies.
  • Facilitating new joinee on Introduction to company Mission, Vision, Policies and Procedures.
  • Conducting Exit Interviews to analyse the various hidden reasons of Attrition.
  • Measuring Attrition on monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Preparing various HRIS/MIS reports like headcount details, attrition, manpower detail reports, etc.
  • Facilitating Internal and External Auditors for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually Audit of Payroll, PF, ESI, Income Tax, Gratuity, & Leave encashment.
  • Liaisoning with Director of Factories, Labour Department, Employment Exchange, Provident Fund, Employees State Insurance, Professional Tax Authorities & Local Authorities.
  • Closely associated with HR Head & assist him in Developing and conducting surveys and OD Interventions plans. (eg. Employee Satisfaction Survey)
  • Personnel/ Administration/IR:
  • Maintaining employee records for all employees and auditing personnel records ensuring completeness, accuracy specifically related to Personnel files, contracts.
  • Attendance and record management (Leave , Time-sheets, Employee Master File).
  • Domestic inquires, confidential reviews.
  • Statutory returns as per the acts (factory act, PF, ESI, Minimum wages, Bonus etc. ).
  • Employee handbook & Standing order.
  • Employee relations and Grievance handling.
  • General administration(House keeping, Pest control, Guest house, Transportation, Insurance etc.).
  • Training & Development:
  • To assess the training needs of the employees in junior and middle management levels.
  • Develop the annual training calendar for the employees as the approved budget.
  • To coordinate with training agencies for outsourced training programmes.
  • Impart internal training modules to the junior management.
  • Responsible for the entire end-to-end training programme/ activities till the training feedback assessment.
  • Computer Skilled
  • Computer usage for Performance monitoring: Developed periodical performance monitoring system through SAP/ERP/ Oracle with extensive use of computers at all levels.
