Position: : Sr Analyst Distributed Systems Lan PC - SAP Basis; Senior SAP Basis administrator
Location: Bangalore, Whitefield.

Roles and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for technical SAP Basis management and maintenance of Kennametal corporate SAP business systems. Administer Basis activities for daily operations, production support, and SAP implementations including both ABAP and Java systems.
The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for problem management and resolution, installation, upgrades, configuration, and patch managementfor the current and future systems to maintain 24 X 7 core global SAP business system availability. Develop and maintain documentation
consistent with IT standards, policies, and controls. Must be willing to work weekends and evenings when required, carry cell phone andbe on call 24 X 7 during assigned periods. Some amount of travel required for training and implementations may be required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills.

Able to trouble-shoot a variety of situations - network, SAP system, database, etc, especially from within the SAP system
Strong skills in project planning, and develop/maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
ITIL, Lean methodologies preferred.
Requirements
Position requires a bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years experience maintaining SAPNetweaver Business Suite 7; including ECC 6.0, CRM 7.0, SRM 7.0, SCM 7.0 TREX 7.1, PLM 7.02 and PI 7.1 systems. Concentrations inSAP monitoring, administration and maintenance, ChaRM change management, SAP Web services, SAP Basis systems reside in aprimarily Unix server environment, with several modules in Windows and Linux. Databases are primarily Oracle 11.2.0.2.
Must be proficient and possess strong working experience in:
Performance management and systems management utilizing SAP supplied tools.
Requires strong working knowledge of SAP interfaces, such as RFC, ALE, CIF, SAP Connect, PI, SAP Certificates, Single-Sign-on.
Strong understanding of SAP Netweaver concepts and strong hands-on working knowledge of SAP Java stack and ABAP stacks.
Strong understanding and strong hands-on working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager components (ChaRM change management,
SMD Diagnostics/RCA, Monitoring, Projects, CCMS), System Landscape Directory, Process Integration (PI).
Strong understanding and strong working knowledge of SAP Transport Management system (CTS & CTS+), TDMS, client copy, print andspool management, tuning SAP in various environments, profile and parameter management, security management, file and storagemanagement.
Performing installations, upgrades, patch maintenance, backup/recovery, systems configuration and integration, and production support.
